Harrods International Academy recently welcomed our newest families through the Harrods New Parent Orientation, an important session designed to help parents become familiar with the school, understand key expectations, and feel confident as their children begin their learning journey with us.
The orientation provided new parents with an introduction to the Harrods community, including our educational approach, school programmes, communication channels, student support systems, and the important role that families play in supporting student success.
Throughout the session, parents had the opportunity to learn more about what they can expect from school life at Harrods. Key information was shared on academic learning, daily routines, school policies, student wellbeing, extracurricular opportunities, and ways parents can stay connected with teachers and the wider school community.
A strong focus was also placed on the importance of partnership between home and school. At Harrods, we believe that students thrive when parents and educators work closely together. Open communication, shared expectations, and active family engagement help create a positive and supportive learning environment for every child.
The orientation also gave parents the opportunity to meet members of the school leadership and academic teams, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of the support available to students throughout the academic year.
