Our Summer School was a great success yet again, with 4 weeks of learning, but more importantly, of fun! Not only did Harrods students get to enjoy our Summer activities, but many children from other schools also joined in with us this Summer.
Our remedial programme focused on gap filling in mathematics skills, as well as language skills in English, Khmer and Chinese. However, the highlight for the children were the workshops run by our teachers where the children were given opportunities to explore, try and develop new skills.
Some of our workshops included – Khmer Cooking and Little Chefs, History Projects, Chinese Culture and Art, Chess Masters, Origami and other crafts, Games Galore, Mindfulness Activities, STEM Projects, ICT Skill Building, Life Skills, Typography, Environmental Awareness, Modern Dance, Acting and Performing Arts, Music and Singing, Model United Nations, and many Sports like Football, Basketball and Hand Tennis.
Well done to everyone to who helped to make our Summer School such a great experience for our children, and thank you to all of the families that participated this year!
